Η Χρυσή Αυγή στις Θερμοπύλες por LAMIASTARGR

Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos on Sunday attacked the institution of parliament and lashed out at Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias, after the latter's statement that "stormtroopers will not be tolerated".

The leader of the ultra-nationalist party addressed supporters from around the country in front of the monument to Spartan King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans in Thermopylae.

"Dendias came out with a smug smile to say that we (the government) shall crush the stormtroopers. We are here, let them come and crush us ... You are the stormtroopers of Golden Dawn," Michaloliakos told hundreds of uniformed supporters.

Michaloliakos said "there are traitors everywhere", while also stepping up his attack on the institution of parliament: "We feel uncomfortable in there. If they want, we'll abandon it at any moment; we'll take to the streets ... then we'll see what storm troopers are."

He went on to say "we are waiting for the time to be strong enough to claim Greeks' just cause ... at some point the struggle will be waged." (AMNA, dv)

It would be unthinkable 5 or 10 years ago to predict that Greece would collapse so badly and that Golden Dawn would become so powerful and influential. The rise of golden dawn is not explained only because of the economic crisis, but mainly because of the huge influx of Islamic illegal immigrants and the huge increase in crime in Greece which was so peaceful and safe in the 1990's but now resembles south Africa and Pakistan. Golden dawn has solutions and is effective. Greek people are tired of the mainstream corrupted politically correct parties. It is very possible that golden dawn would become the most popular party in Greece in the near future. Things are so bad that is the last solution. If it was a little moderate it would easily be the first party since some people are sceptical of voting an extreme party. But, the economy gets more worse every day and the influx of illegals would not stop with political correct methods So golden dawn is here to stay.

Some 100,000 illegal immigrants are estimated to slip into Greece every year and up to a million are believed to now live in Greece, which has a total population of about 11million.

The uncontrolled influx of illegal aliens in Greece has coincided with a spike in crime and assaults of the native population.

This scenario has contributed to the rise of Golden Dawn.

(1) The Greek economy will continue to deteriorate as the current coalition government is ineffective and the EU is unwilling to help. Greek people are overtaxed, unemployment is sky high and most young people are jobless or underpaid so they are angry and desperate. (2) The mass influx of illegal immigrants will continue as the government is unable to stop it and EU doesn't care at all. People are very angry about this as the crime has increased. The leftist opposition is pro-immigrant and that makes it unpopular. Greek people are very angry at EU and UN. (3) The mainstream political parties of the coalition government are unpopular and corrupted and the Leftist opposition is becoming more unpopular every day. Golden dawn is becoming more popular as it distributes food to poor Greek people, is very active in crime ridden neighborhoods, and has active role in the parliament.(4) Greek people have nothing to lose as they do not care any more about what European union dictates. As the problems get worse, Golden dawn will become more and more popular to the point of becoming the most popular party.

Golden Dawn must guard its rear. As it gets popular, the state and European media will demonise Golden Dawn. This is the preamble to declare it a Nazi party, and then ban it.

Golden Dawn will then have its finances confiscated, and their leaders facing arrest warrants and prosecution. They can appeal, but that wont work, as all European courts will throw out their appeal.

That will leave Greeks with the "Syria" option, but without the backing of NATO.

So the way forward is softly softly, and with stealth- not just in Greece, but everywhere in Europe, EDL etc.
