I've written before about the French writer Renaud Camus who was dropped by his publishers after declaring his support for the Front National earlier this year. Here's an interview he gave recently to the Voice of Russia.

Where do you see acts of war in France that recall the start of the war in Algeria?
What recalls the start of the war in Algeria is the extreme euphemisation of discourse imposed by the media-political complex. They would say “the events”, they say “the confrontations”. The territorial character of the conflict is denied completely.
Why do you feel anger against the media?
Because they impose (almost) unanimously a system of interpreting the world that is a formidable machine for not seeing, not saying, not understanding. Anti-racism, because that’s what it’s about, after it went from being morality to ideology, to indoctrination, to an instrument of power and repression, has become what I called, borrowing an expression from Alain Finkielkraut, the Communism of the 21st century. Supported by threats, it serves to dissimulate what is happening: that is to say the changing of people, the Great Replacement, the reverse colonisation.
Why did you found a political party?
Because there wasn’t one that was responding to the urgency of the situation and was calling out what was happening, the conquest of territory. Yes, there was the Front National which at least seemed aware of the reality of things, but the presence of Jean-Marie Le Pen at the head of it, at the time, prevented me getting closer to it, much less joining it.
Why did your publishing houses cancel your contract?

Has France been a country of immigration for centuries?
Absolutely not. That is one of the most cynical inventions of the collaborationist historiography, in the service of the do-gooder party. Between the 6th and 20th centuries, the components of the French population were stable. The first wave of immigration appears at the end of the 19th century, but it’s still an immigration of individuals who could be assimilated easily in one or two generations because they were from the same civilisation, Christian and European: Belgians, Italians, Poles. Mass immigration only starts in the last third of the 20th century and very quickly it’s no longer a question of integration because even if France has always been able to integrate individuals, it cannot integrate peoples, especially when they belong to civilisations that are completely foreign to ours and often hostile.
Is there a need to create a government of Free French forces on the model of De Gaulle?
We’re not there yet. Vast parts of the territory are still under the control of the national government. The problem is that it is itself largely in the hands of people who are unaware or cynical, who accommodate themselves very well to the colonisation that is underway or who support it.
Are we seeing a rewriting of the history of France?
Ah that, totally. It has been hugely favoured by the Great Deculturation, the collapse of the education system, the teaching of forgetfulness, the stupour industry.
Why do the North African populations want to come to France at any price given that they chased France out of their countries?
When the Russians chased the French out of Russia in 1812 they pursued them all the way to Paris. But they only stayed two or three years there. And they were an army, not a people.
Is France like Kosovo with Muslim, African and Christian zones?
Modern France is doing its utmost to become what classical France did its best to avoid being for centuries, an ex-Yugoslavia, the Balkans, another Lebanon, a basket of crabs.
...The immigrants say they are more French than the French and call the French “souchiens” or “sous-chiens” [play on words meaning both ‘indigenes’ and ‘sub-dogs’]. Does that shock you?
It may be true that a few thousand of them love France more than its deculturated indigenes. For the rest, it’s just a territorial claim – it only confirms me in my thoughts: that a conquest is underway, by colonisation of settlement.
What do you think of humanitarian organisations like MRAP that prohibit discussion of the facts?
That they are helpers who have a stake in the Great Replacement.
The fact that Putin bans such organisations in Russia, is that a good idea?
It isn’t necessary to ban them. It’s enough to stop subsidising them.

This happened at an occasion where the man in question was not content with the decisions central authorities, so he demonstrated his distance by instead of decorating himself with the ordinary French band across the shoulder, but took out one in black and white with the Bretagne symbols
(The occasion may have been one to do with constructing national roads)
I thought this was remarkable and it made you wonder whether this could be one of the first signs of a part of France on its way to breaking off from the republique.
Bretagne has a history of independence before it was forced in under France.

To the first commenter: you are so right about Bretagne. I remember that the artist Gauguin was very taken by the region and started to dress like a Bretagne native after his first visits there.

I'm glad I'm old and won't be around for the end. Don't get me wrong I very much hope Western Civilization survives and gets back on it's feet; I just wouldn't bet on it today.
