Homages to Dominique Venner have appeared throughout Italy. The organisation Casapound Italia set up overnight homages to him in more than fifty cities, from north to south of the country. The text reads:

A man of 44 was arrested yesterday in Bilbao accused of raping and cutting the toe off a social educator, according to the Basque Department of Security.

The attack occurred at 4.30 pm in a building in the district of Deusto in Bilbao.

It appears that the educator told the man that he was going to be expelled from the flat for violating the rules and he reacted by attacking her.

It seems the attacker, of North African origin, raped the young woman, tied her to a chair and gagged her with a curtain.

He also practically cut off one of her toes and inflicted knife wounds on various parts of her body. Later, at 4.45 pm, the man moved to another shelter apartment, where he inflicted various cuts to the right hand and left forearm of another man.

The two victims were moved to hospitals so that their wounds could be treated, while the attacker also had to be admitted to hospital in Basurto after trying to harm himself with drugs.

According to the same sources, the arrested man had been accused of threats and wounds on other occasions but did not have a police record.

Yet again we see evidence that Muslim men cannot tolerate a woman in a position of authority over them.

This sad week has seen politicians, commentators and the combined might of press and television conspiring to clear Islam of any responsibility for the slaughter of Drummer Lee Rigby. The Prime Minister, David Cameron, pronounced the official whitewash from an oak lectern in Downing Street: ‘There is nothing in Islam that justifies this truly dreadful act.’

Cameron’s ex cathedra declaration may stem from a genuine ignorance of Islam or it may be a deliberate lie. Bearing in mind the words of the former British government minister George Walden in his book Time to Emigrate? it is likely to be a lie:

I’d be so alarmed by the situation that I’d do everything possible to suggest it was under control. It’s up to politicians to play mood music in a crisis, and up to the people to understand that there’s little else governments can do. The last thing they can say is that we face a threat to which we can see no end because it’s based on a fundamental clash of cultures. On the IRA we told the truth; on the Islamic problem, we lie.

Even though officialdom cannot bring itself to say so, Islam does justify the slaughter. A passage in the Qur’an explains how elements of Judaism and Christianity have been incorporated into Islam, including the Judaic concept of exacting justice by taking revenge:

[5:45] In the Torah We decreed for them a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and a wound for a wound.

Islam sees the taking of Drummer Rigby’s life as justified revenge for the killing of Muslims by British troops in Afghanistan and other territories.

The attempted beheading of Drummer Rigby is also justified by the Qur’an:

[8:12] Allah revealed His will to the angels, saying: ‘I shall be with you. Give courage to the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, maim them in every limb!’

There being little chance of Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat politicians facing up to the truth about Islam, vote for those who will.

This resonates with a thought I had when I was reading about the Norman invasion of England. There were only about 20,000 Norman invaders, it seems. If 20,000 English indigenes had simply walked up and killed one Norman each, even if they themselves were immediately killed afterwards, they could have stopped the whole thing. But they didn't.

This is actually not a bad blog post on the Telegraph, but you have to marvel at the irony of it.

There has actually been more forthright commentary about the Woolwich attack from French politicians than from British politicians. Here are some remarks made by Jacques Myard, an MP in the UMP party (Sarkozy's party, mainstream right-wing).

"The cowardly attack of the Islamists against a British soldier in London might finally open the eyes of the naive English and others who preach tolerance towards religious extremists and guarantee their freedom of expression."

"...In a world that has become totally transnational, without borders, we now need to recgonise that Islamist assassins are a fifth column present in all the suburbs of Europe."

The MP calls for "drawing all the conclusions" from this murder, "on the legal level, with regards to nationality and procedures for being stripped of it, but also with regard to the communitarian tendencies which can no longer be tolerated."

"Let us look reality in the face. If not, the worst is to be feared in future. Civil war is waiting for us."

This so-called philosopher is a regular contributor to the Guardian.

Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Zizek has caused controversy in Greece by suggesting that he would send anyone who does not support SYRIZA to a “gulag”.

Zizek met with SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras in Croatia last week when the pair were taking part in the Subversive Festival. Tsipras also met US director Oliver Stone there.

During a panel discussion with Tsipras, Zizek expressed his appreciation for SYRIZA. The academic had appeared alongside Tsipras in Athens ahead of last summer’s national elections as well.

“SYRIZA is one of the bright lights in Europe today,” Zizek told the audience in Zagreb.

However, it was his comments regarding those who do not support SYRIZA that attracted criticism in Greece on Monday, when the video drew attention on social media.

“If they don’t support SYRIZA then, in my vision of the democratic future, all these people will get from me a first class one-way ticket to [a] gulag,” he said.

New Democracy issued a statement saying Zizek's comments were "bloodcurdling and repulsive". The conservatives called on Tsipras to explain why he did not react to the philosopher's comments. The party added that "thousands of people of Greek origins were killed in Gulags."

SYRIZA responded by slamming ND for taking the comments seriously.

"It seems that stupidity and absurdity has no limits at New Democracy," the leftist party said.

"How do we stop young British Muslims falling into the hands of Jihadis?" asks Toby Young in his blog article with the comments turned off.

First, there's no such thing as a British Muslim, or a French Muslim or a German Muslim. Muslims belong to the Ummah. That is their nation. That is what the word Ummah means. Talking about a British Muslim is like talking about a French German or a Spanish Italian. It is a contradiction in terms.

Second, the way we stop Muslims resident in Britain from attacking us is by ensuring that that they are no longer resident in Britain. As always, the elephant in the room is immigration. Immigrants or people of recent immigrant origin continually plot to murder indigenous Europeans and every time it happens, the question of immigration is never raised. Why are we allowing people into our countries if there presence is not beneficial to us? And once it becomes obvious that their presence is not beneficial, why are we allowing them to remain?

It is time to publicly demand a stop to Muslim immigration and the repatriation or expulsion of the existing Muslim population. (See my plan for Muslim repatriation.) Note that these ideas are so taboo that no one of any prominence in the Counterjihad movement even dares to raise them. But these ideas are the only way this can end other than bloody war. However unpleasant they seem, they are less unpleasant than the alternative. They must gradually grow in acceptability until they come to be publicly supported by a majority of the people. But they cannot do that if no one, not even fringe bloggers, dares to express them.

Toby Young has a genius alternative answer to his own question, though. His plan? Send Muslims to special schools where they will receive military-style training instead. Perhaps we should lay on bomb-making courses at these military-style academies, just to help the Muslims learn discipline, you understand.
